From resistance to growth
Moving through-
Ok, so we know what resistance is & why it flares up. But how to we move through & use it as a tool for growth?
The first step in this multi faceted approach is awareness. Being aware that resistance is something you may experience from time to time - particularly when you are doing something new, changing habits or creating new thought patterns.
Next is having a strong WHY. Why are you venturing into this growth, what will your life look like on the other side of this growth & what are you missing out on if things stay the same?
Create reminders of your why. Jot affirmations & little reminders of your why on post it notes. Stick them to your steering wheel, fridge, diary, computer, mirror - anywhere they will be a constant reminder.
Lastly find yourself a support network, Buddy, coach or mentor to hold space for you as you move through this growth.
